Volleyball Game Preview: North Arlington Vikings vs. Becton Wildcats

The North Arlington Vikings will head out to challenge the Becton Wildcats at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. North Arlington will be strutting in after a victory while Becton will be coming in after a defeat.

North Arlington took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over Elmwood Park. The Vikings haven't had any issues with the Crusaders recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Becton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to Lyndhurst.

Becton's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for North Arlington, their win bumped their record up to 3-6.

North Arlington was able to grind out a solid victory over Becton in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, winning 2-0. Will the Vikings repeat their success, or do the Wildcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
