Soccer Recap: Carroll County Takes a Loss

Despite a strong season so far, Carroll County has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the James River Knights on Friday. The matchup was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Carroll County couldn't quite close it out.

Carroll County's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4-2. As for James River, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-4-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Carroll County is set to face off against their familiar foe Radford at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, James River will challenge rival Glenvar at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
