Preview: East Coweta Indians vs. Campbell Spartans
East Coweta is 8-1 against Campbell since September of 2014, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The East Coweta Indians will be playing in front of their home fans against the Campbell Spartans at 7:30 p.m. Given that the pair suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.
Last Friday, East Coweta took a serious blow against Carrollton, falling 56-24. East Coweta has struggled against Carrollton recently, as Friday's matchup was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
The losing side was boosted by Dionte Jones, who rushed for 138 yards and a touchdown on only 14 carries. Jones' longest rush was for an incredible 91 yards.
Meanwhile, Campbell fell victim to Wheeler's stalwart defense back in September and couldn't make it onto the board. They were outmatched by the Wildcats at home and fell 45-0. Campbell just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.
East Coweta's defeat on Friday dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Campbell, their defeat back in September dropped their record down to 2-4.
