Softball Recap: Holbrook Comes Up Short

Holbrook was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 13-3 to the Page Sand Devils. The Roadrunners were not able to make up for their defeat to the Sand Devils from their previous meeting back in March of 2021.

Holbrook saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alexis Young, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one RBI.

Holbrook's loss dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Page, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Holbrook will host St. Johns at 2:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Page, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against El Capitan at 12:00 p.m. The Sand Devils will need to watch out since the Eagles have now posted at least ten runs in their last five matchups.
