Preview: Tomahawk Hatchets vs. Northland Lutheran Wildcats
The Tomahawk Hatchets will look to defend their home court on Thursday against the Northland Lutheran Wildcats at 7:15 p.m. Tomahawk comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 41-14, which was the final score in Tomahawk's tilt against Northland Pines on Friday.
Meanwhile, Northland Lutheran took their game at home on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 53-16 win over Port Edwards. The victory was just what Northland Lutheran needed coming off of a 70-38 defeat in their prior contest.
Josslin Adams was her usual excellent self, scoring 16 points along with 9 rebounds and 7 steals. That makes it five consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Northland Lutheran's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kenzie Rohland, who scored 13 points along with 3 steals.
The losses dropped Tomahawk to 0-4 and Northland Pines to 2-2.
Tomahawk strolled past Northland Lutheran when the teams last played back in January by a score of 65-51. Will Tomahawk repeat their success, or does Northland Lutheran have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
