Basketball Recap: Whetstone Comes Up Short

Whetstone was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were dealt a 62-32 defeat at the hands of the Centennial Stars. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Braves of the 79-55 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January.

Whetstone's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Centennial, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Whetstone is set to take on their familiar foe Columbus International at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Centennial will square off against rival East at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
