Andover had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24 points) and they went ahead and made it seven on Thursday. They really took it to the Wamego Red Raiders for the full four quarters, racking up a 73-33 win. The Trojans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 26 points or more this season.

Joshua Kim was his usual excellent self, going 10 for 13 on his way to 24 points and four steals. That's the most points he has posted since back in January of 2024. Another player making a difference was Owen Allman, who went 5 of 11 en route to 14 points.

Andover's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-2. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 27 points. As for Wamego, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Andover will venture away from home to challenge Salina Central at 7:30 p.m. on January 30th. As for Wamego, they will head out on the road to take on Rock Creek at 7:30 p.m. on January 31st.
