Volleyball Game Preview: Washington Township Senators vs. Benton HomeSchool Bucks

The Washington Township Senators will take on the Benton HomeSchool Bucks at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. Washington Township will be strutting in after a win while Benton HomeSchool will be coming in after a loss.

On Thursday, Washington Township made easy work of DeMotte Christian and carried off a 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Senators.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Washington Township was: they took every set by at least 15 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-2, 25-10.

Meanwhile, Benton HomeSchool came up short against South Bend Saint Joseph on Monday, falling 3-0.

While Benton HomeSchool was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-16, 25-14.

Washington Township pushed their record up to 15-3 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. As for Benton HomeSchool, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-2.
