Basketball Game Preview: Hozho Academy Wolves vs. Dulce Hawks

The Hozho Academy Wolves are taking a road trip to take on the Dulce Hawks at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Dulce took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Hozho Academy, who comes in off a win.

Hozho Academy picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They walked away with a 37-27 victory over Rehoboth Christian.

Hozho Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Khloe Todecheenie led the charge by putting up 12 points. Hayden Daniels was another key player, scoring nine points.

Meanwhile, Dulce played a tough matchup on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 57-28 loss at the hands of Laguna Acoma. Dulce was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 31-10.

The win got Hozho Academy back to even at 8-8. As for Dulce, they dropped their record down to 5-12 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.
