Basketball Recap: Normangee Takes a Loss

Normangee saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a 45-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Valley Mills Eagles. That's two games in a row now that the Panthers have lost by exactly 11 points.

Normangee has been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season. As for Valley Mills, their win bumped their record up to 7-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Normangee Panthers face off against the Leon Cougars at 2:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Valley Mills, they will venture away from home to challenge Itasca at 12:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
