Basketball Game Recap: Stevenson vs. Churchill

The Stevenson Spartans lost a heartbreaker to the Churchill Chargers when they met in January, and they left with a heavy heart again on Friday. It was a hard-fought game, but Stevenson had to settle for a 53-50 loss against Churchill.

The Spartans' defeat pushed them down to 11-7. The victory improved Churchill's record to 9-6.

The Spartans will take on Howell on Monday. Stevenson fans better hope the squad plays one heck of a game as the odds are decidedly against them. Churchill is staying on the road on Monday to face off against Plymouth. Plymouth is also hoping to continue their momentum after a 45-18 win over Canton on Friday.
