Preview: Crossings Christian vs. Kingfisher
The Crossings Christian Knights will head out on the road to square off against the Kingfisher Yellowjackets at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many goals in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.
Crossings Christian's last matchup on Saturday was all defense as neither team scored a goal. They and Chickasha finished up on equal footing with a 0-0 draw.
Meanwhile, Kingfisher had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They suffered a tough 4-1 loss at the hands of Capitol Hill last Tuesday.
Everything went Crossings Christian's way against Kingfisher when the teams last played back in March of 2022 as Crossings Christian made off with a 6-1 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Crossings Christian since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
