Lexington took a three-set defeat the last time they faced off against Milford, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Minutemen narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Scarlet Hawks 3-2. Winning may never get old, but the Minutemen sure are getting used to it with their 11th in a row.

Lexington wouldn't go down easily and took Milford into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-15, 23-25, 25-21, 15-13.

Lexington found their leader in sophomore Joshua Choi, who had 18 digs and two aces.

Lexington's victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-1. As for Milford, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-4.

Lexington didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Woburn Memorial on the 1st. As for Milford, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Agawam on the 2nd.
