Baseball Recap: Saturday's Defeat Ends Analy's Winning Streak

It was a good run, but Analy unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Saturday. They lost 13-4 to the Novato Hornets. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Tigers have suffered since March 11th.

Analy got a good showing from Logan Radovich, who tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits.

At the plate, Emerson Johnston and Hunter Thomas stepped up to the plate in a big way. Johnston scored a run while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances, while Thomas scored a run while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Donnie Rinkor, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Analy's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Novato, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-7 record this season.

Analy will welcome Archie Williams at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Novato, they will head out on the road to face off against Tamalpais at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Red Tailed Hawks will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Hornets surely won't give up without a fight.
