Basketball Game Preview: Red Springs Red Devils vs. St. Pauls Bulldogs

Red Springs hasn't had much luck against St. Pauls recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Red Devils will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m.

Red Springs is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Lakewood on Monday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Red Devils lost 46-20 to the Leopards. The Red Devils were down 38-15 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Meanwhile, St. Pauls got the win against Scotland on Tuesday by a conclusive 53-29.

The win got St. Pauls back to even at 1-1. As for Red Springs, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Red Springs suffered a grim 47-22 defeat to St. Pauls when the teams last played back in February. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Red Devils were down 36-7.
