Volleyball Game Preview: Proviso West Panthers vs. Lyons Lions

Proviso West is 0-10 against Lyons since October of 2015 but things could change on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Wednesday, Proviso West came up short against Leyden and fell 2-0.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-14.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Lyons took on Wheaton-Warrenville South on Wednesday. The Lions fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 2-1.

The 2-1 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-22, 26-24.

Lyons' defeat dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Proviso West, their loss dropped their record down to 2-9.
