Basketball Recap: Traip Comes Up Short

Traip was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 54-46 to the Waynflete Flyers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rangers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 37-34 last Saturday.

Traip's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Waynflete, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Traip will venture away from home to take on Winthrop at 2:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Waynflete, they are taking a road trip to face off against Lake Region at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
