The biggest upset of the week belonged to Marina, who took down 1052nd ranked Marina, 24-14.

Pacific Grove moved up to 618 from 690 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Mission Trail.

Gonzales's Sergio Baez and Rhett Panziera have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Baez has thrown for 427 yards this season, while Panziera, a 6-foot-0 receiver, has nine catches for 146 yards. Stephen Hotta from Stevenson leads the league in rushing with 167 yards.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when Soledad takes on the Breakers. The Aztecs are currently in fourth, while Pacific Grove is in first.

Soledad and the Pirates played the most hotly contested game in Mission Trail this week, with Soledad eventually emerging with a 20-14 victory.
