St. Henry fell victim to Newport Central Catholic and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Thoroughbreds, falling 6-0. The Crusaders have struggled against the Thoroughbreds recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

St. Henry's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Newport Central Catholic, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-8.

While St. Henry had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
