Baseball Recap: Colony Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Colony can now relate to. They fell 11-6 to the Eagle River Wolves on Saturday. The loss continues a trend for the Knights in their meetings with the Wolves: they've now lost four in a row.

Boman Marks was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Hayden Sherman, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

Colony's defeat dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Eagle River, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-4-2 record this season.

As of now, neither Colony nor Eagle River have any future games scheduled.
