Recap: Kings Knights vs. Wayne Warriors
The Kings Knights had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They skirted past Wayne 42-39.
Despite the loss, Wayne still got an impressive performance from Morgyn Rose, who scored 12 points. Imani Frazier was another key contributor, scoring 10 points.
Kings' win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Wayne, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Kings will be playing at home against Milford at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Milford focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Wednesday. As for Wayne, they will head out on the road to face off against Unioto at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday.
