Baseball Recap: Key West Has No Trouble Against St. Thomas Aquinas

Key West won the last time they faced St. Thomas Aquinas and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Key West Conchs were the clear victor by a 10-3 margin over the St. Thomas Aquinas Raiders. Considering the Conchs have won three games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Christian Koppal looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one hit any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, Sam Holland was excellent, scoring a run while going 1-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Caden Pichardo, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Key West is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. St. Thomas Aquinas' record now sits at 6-3-1.

Key West has already played their next matchup, a 5-0 loss against Westminster Christian on the 7th. As for St. Thomas Aquinas, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 10-3 victory against Gaither on the 7th.
