Volleyball Game Preview: Harding Skippers vs. Cardinal Huskies

Harding hasn't had much luck against Cardinal recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Skippers will square off against the Huskies at 6:45 p.m.

On Tuesday, Harding came up short against Pymatuning Valley and fell 3-1.

Harding was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Pymatuning Valley work for it, especially in the fourth set. The final score came out to 25-22, 21-25, 25-18, 27-25.

Meanwhile, Cardinal entered their tilt with Grand Valley on Tuesday with 12 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 13. They came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 3-1.

In the three sets Cardinal was on fire: they won each by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-15, 25-15, 25-14.

Cardinal's win bumped their record up to 19-1. As for Harding, their loss dropped their record down to 8-11.

Harding might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Cardinal when the teams last played back in September. Can the Skippers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
