Fremd has gone a perfect 10-0 against Rolling Meadows recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Vikings will welcome the Mustangs at 4:45 p.m. Fremd's pitching crew has only allowed 1.8 runs per game this season, so Rolling Meadows' hitters will have their work cut out for them.

On Monday, Fremd earned a 4-1 victory over Hersey.

Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous three match, Rolling Meadows brought some dynamite into their most recent game. Everything went their way against Hoffman Estates on Tuesday as they made off with an 11-1 win. The Mustangs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by nine runs or more this season.

Caylee Del Boccio was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with four runs, two stolen bases, and one double. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April. Mary Linker was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI and one run.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Rolling Meadows kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. They are 5-1 when they post 11 or more hits.

Fremd pushed their record up to 19-3 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for Rolling Meadows, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-15 record.

Everything went Fremd's way against Rolling Meadows in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Fremd made off with a 12-0 win. Will the Vikings repeat their success, or do the Mustangs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
