Basketball Recap: Marshall Comes Up Short

On Wednesday, the Marshall Mustangs took a blow against the Scammon Bay Eagles, falling 86-41. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Scammon Bay's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from DALLAS KAGANAK, who went 9 of 14 on his way to 20 points and five boards. ALBERT YUNAK was another key player, dropping a double-double on 22 points and 11 rebounds.

Marshall's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Scammon Bay, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Marshall has already played their next contest (against Russian Mission), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Scammon Bay will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Nelson Island at 4:30 p.m. on January 29th. Scammon Bay is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 59.6 points per game this season.
