Softball Preview: Hebron Christian Lions vs. Stephens County Indians

The Hebron Christian Lions will challenge the Stephens County Indians at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Hebron Christian took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. Everything went their way against Hart County as Hebron Christian made off with a 10-3 win. With that victory, the Lions brought their scoring average up to 6.1 runs per game.

Gwen Hill spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on four hits and racked up 12 Ks.

At the plate, Leah Jensen was incredible, going 1-for-2 with a home run, a stolen base, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Lauren Kyranakis, who went 1-for-3 with a triple, a stolen base, and two RBI.
