Football Game Preview: Escanaba Eskymos vs. Gaylord Blue Devils + How To Watch

The Escanaba Eskymos will challenge the Gaylord Blue Devils at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are still undefeated (Escanaba has eight wins dating back to last season, while Gaylord has seven dating back to last season).

Escanaba will bounce into Friday's contest after beating Marquette, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Eskymos strolled past the Sentinels with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 38-20.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Gaylord). They claimed a resounding 41-0 victory over Alpena. Given the Blue Devils' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 54th, while the Wildcats are ranked 354th) , the win on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Escanaba's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Gaylord, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 6-0.
