Recap: Belle Tigers vs. Lebanon Yellowjackets
After soaring to 55 points the game before, the Belle Tigers were a bit more limited in their game on Saturday. They were dealt a 49-21 defeat at the hands of Lebanon. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Belle has suffered since December 1, 2023.
It was another big night for Bodie Cox, who scored 14 points along with seven assists and six rebounds for Lebanon. Another player making a difference was Madison Myers, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Belle's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Lebanon, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 4-10 record this season.
Belle on the road again on Monday and play against Tuscumbia at 5:30 p.m. on January 22nd. Tuscumbia has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 5. As for Lebanon, they will head out on the road to face off against Hillcrest at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
