Volleyball Recap: Elkhorn North Takes Down Ranked Elkhorn South

Elkhorn North faced Elkhorn South in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Wolves came out on top against the Storm by a score of 2-0. This was payback for the Wolves, who suffered a 3-2 loss the last time these two teams met.

Reagan Wallraff paced Elkhorn North's offense, picking up 15 kills. Wallraff got some help from Hayden Booth and her nine assists. Booth also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Payton Palmer, racking up two apiece.

Despite the defeat, Elkhorn South saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Campbell Hoeft had 14 digs and two assists. Hoeft is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least 14 every time she's taken the court this season.
