Softball Recap: General Brown Comes Up Short

General Brown entered their contest against Sandy Creek on Saturday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Lions came up short against the Comets, falling 13-7. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Comets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-1 on Saturday.

General Brown's defeat dropped their record down to 12-3. As for Sandy Creek, their win was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-1.

General Brown wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 16-1 loss against South Jefferson on the 18th. As for Sandy Creek, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 17-1 victory against Carthage on the 18th.
