Basketball Recap: Janesville Craig Gets the Win

Janesville Craig won the last time they faced Madison East and things went their way on Thursday too. The Janesville Craig Cougars walked away with a 75-66 win over the Madison East Purgolders. The Cougars didn't have much to brag about two games back, but this victory makes it their second in a row.

Janesville Craig's win bumped their record up to 6-11. As for Madison East, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Janesville Craig Cougars take on the Middleton Cardinals at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Janesville Craig knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Middleton likes a good challenge. As for Madison East, they will head out on the road to challenge Greenfield at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
