Pennridge hasn't had much luck against Central Bucks West recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Rams will face off against the Bucks at 4:00 p.m. Pennridge is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.2 runs per game this season.

Pennridge is headed into the contest having just suffered their closest loss since April 16, 2024 on Thursday. They fell just short of Souderton by a score of 6-4. The loss was the Rams' first of the season.

Pennridge saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Connor Murray, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one home run. That home run marked the first that Murray launched this season.

Meanwhile, Central Bucks West gave up the first runs on Thursday, but they didn't let that get them down. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Central Bucks South 3-2. Surprisingly, this marked the fourth straight game that the away team has come away the victor.

Stephen Verdolini looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Gavin Shiffler, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-1.

Central Bucks West's win was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-1. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for Pennridge, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. Pennridge has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.8 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Central Bucks West struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 4.4 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.

Pennridge might still be hurting after the 6-0 loss they got from Central Bucks West when the teams last played back in May of 2024. Can the Rams avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
