Volleyball Recap: Escambia Takes a Loss

Escambia lost against Foley back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Gators fell 2-0 to the Lions. The Gators have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-16.

Avrie Hines paced Escambia's offense, picking up six kills. Hines got some help from Ella Pittenger and her six assists.

Escambia's loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Foley, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-18.

Coincidentally, Escambia and Foley will both be playing Buckhorn the next time they take the court. The Lions will host the Bucks at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, while the Gators will play them later in the day, at 6:00 p.m.
