Volleyball Recap: Kings Knights vs. Mount Notre Dame

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Kings can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to Mount Notre Dame on Saturday. The game marked the first time this year in which the Knights were not able to get on the board.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-21, 25-18.

Sophia Richardson paced Kings' offense, picking up 12 kills. Richardson got some help from Anabelle Seni and her 18 assists. Ava Mcintyre controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Kings' loss dropped their record down to 19-5. As for Mount Notre Dame, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-9.

Kings does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mount Notre Dame, they will challenge St. Ursula Academy at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. St. Ursula Academy will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Mount Notre Dame surely won't give up without a fight.
