Softball Recap: Fayetteville Wins High-Profile Matchup Against Prairie Grove

On Monday, Fayetteville faced Prairie Grove in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Fayetteville Bulldogs came out on top against the Prairie Grove Tigers by a score of 33-29. While the Bulldogs didn't have the best season last year (they finished 12-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Ava Garcia was a standout: she scored five runs and stole a base while going 4-for-7. The team also got some help courtesy of Kendall Watts, who fired off two home runs, four runs, and five RBI while going 2-for-6.
