Big game from Baucom as Piedmont fell 61-58
Piedmont came up short on Friday despite Mikayla Baucom delivering her most dominant game to date. Baucom was dialed in and scored 19 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Considering what she did the last time these two duked it out (she scored seven points along with five rebounds), Anson should've known better. Baucom is trending in the right direction, as she's improved her point production for three games straight.
Piedmont's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Monroe at 6:00 p.m. on January 30th. Piedmont got just the result they wanted when they last faced Monroe, probably because Baucom had a great game then too: she scored eight points along with seven rebounds.
