Volleyball Recap: Bluffton Bobcats vs. Wando Warriors
Bluffton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Wando Warriors. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bobcats of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2018.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-17.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Wando to victory, but perhaps none more so than Lily Evans, who had four digs and 12 assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Violet Poole, who had ten digs.
Bluffton's loss dropped their record down to 13-17. As for Wando, the win was the 18th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 30-7.
Bluffton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Ashley Ridge on the 12th. Wando has also already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Nation Ford on the 12th.
