Softball Recap: Forestview Comes Up Short

Forestview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 11-1 to the Crest Chargers. The matchup marked the Jaguars' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Forestview saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lily Cabe, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one RBI.

Forestview's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Crest, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-1.

Looking ahead, Forestview will welcome Kings Mountain at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Forestview has given up an average of 7.6 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Crest, they will venture away from home to face off against South Point at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Crest's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last four contests.
