Volleyball Recap: Pine Ridge Comes Up Short

Pine Ridge came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Lakota Tech Tatanka, falling 3-0. The Thorpes haven't had much luck with the Tatanka recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Pine Ridge was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-22, 25-20.

Pine Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 21-12. As for Lakota Tech, the win was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 30-9.

Coming up, Pine Ridge will take on Edgemont at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Lakota Tech, they will square off against Hill City at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
