If Bradford Prep was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Mountain Island Charter on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bears came up short against the Covenant Day Lions on Monday, falling 3-0. The Bears' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-20, 25-12.

Covenant Day found their leader in sophomore Ben Keefer, who had six aces and three digs. Keefer is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted 13 or more in each of the last 22 games he's played dating back to last season.

Bradford Prep's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Covenant Day, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.
