Recap: Park View Patriots vs. Broad Run Spartans
The Park View Patriots lost against the Broad Run Spartans on January 9th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Park View fell 48-35 to the Spartans. Park View has not had much luck with the Spartans recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
When it comes to explaining why Park View lost, one person who can't be blamed is Anna Helstrom. Despite the final result, she scored 24 points along with six rebounds and two blocks. It was the first time this season that Helstrom posted two or more blocks.
Park View has traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season. As for Broad Run, their win bumped their record up to 12-6.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Loudoun County the next time they take the court. Park View will host the Captains at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Spartans will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
