Basketball Recap: Cross Keys Has No Trouble Against Academe of the Oaks

The Cross Keys Phoenix made easy work of the Academe of the Oaks Firebirds on Tuesday and carried off a 55-33 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Phoenix.

When it comes to explaining why Academe of the Oaks lost, don't look at Elijah Campos. Despite the final result, he shot 45% from the field on his way to 10 points along with five rebounds and five blocks.

Cross Keys' victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Cross Keys will take on Atlanta Jewish Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Academe of the Oaks, they will face off against The New School at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
