Clover is a perfect 10-0 against Northwestern since March of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Blue Eagles will venture away from home to face off against the Trojans at 7:00 p.m. Clover is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.1 goals per game this season.

Northwestern better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if Clover's game on Tuesday is any indication, that's when Clover really gets things going. The Blue Eagles blew past Fort Mill 5-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Clover.

Their offense was hitting Fort Mill from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal.

Meanwhile, Northwestern was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 7-0 to Catawba Ridge. While losing is never fun, Northwestern can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 139th, while Catawba Ridge are ranked 17th).

Clover pushed their record up to 10-6 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three contests. As for Northwestern, their loss dropped their record down to 1-11.

Clover took their victory against Northwestern in their previous meeting back in March by a conclusive 8-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Blue Eagles since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
