Volleyball Recap: Santa Fe Triumphs

After losing to St. Paul Lutheran the last time they met, Santa Fe decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Chiefs walked away with a 3-1 win over the Saints on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Chiefs.

The final score came out to 25-16, 22-25, 26-24, 25-19.

Sami Mueller was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 12 digs and two aces. That's the most digs she has posted over her last seven matchups.

Mueller wasn't the only good servers: Santa Fe was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. The Chiefs are 7-3 when they serve at least ten aces.

Santa Fe's record now sits at 11-8-3. As for St. Paul Lutheran, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.

Coincidentally, Santa Fe and St. Paul Lutheran will both be playing Concordia the next time they take the court. The Saints will host the Fighting Orioles at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday, while the Chiefs will host them at 6:30 p.m. on the 16th.
