Basketball Recap: Steiner Falls to Kimberton Waldorf in First Game of Season

Steiner had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They received a blow as they fell 43-26 to the Kimberton Waldorf Bulls. The Dragons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulls apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Kimberton Waldorf's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ram Hegde, who posted six points along with eight rebounds and six assists. Those six assists gave Hegde a new career-high. Will De Prado was another key player, going 5 of 8 en route to 10 points.

Kimberton Waldorf's win bumped their record up to 15-8.

Steiner does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Kimberton Waldorf, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 50-39 victory against Green Meadow Waldorf on the 8th.
