It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Tinora had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They won by a set and slipped past the Parkway Panthers 3-2. The win was nothing new for the Rams as they're now sitting on nine straight.
Tinora took Parkway into a fifth set where they got it done with a four-point win. The final score came out to 25-20, 27-25, 23-25, 24-26, 15-11.
Tinora was led to victory by Jayden Sines and Tatum Creps. Sines had ten digs, while Creps had 37 kills, eight digs, and one block. That's the most digs Sines has posted since back in September. Riley Baldwin also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.
Tinora was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 11 aces in four consecutive contests.
Despite the loss, Parkway had strong showings from Madelyn Stover, who had eight digs, and Hadley Stover, who had eight digs and one assist.
Tinora's record is now 23-2. As for Parkway, with the defeat, they broke their five-match winning streak and moved their record to 21-4.
