Tyler Nicolay put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in March on Thursday. He struck out four batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk any time he's pitched this season.
