Norwood won the last time they faced Norton and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Mustangs walked away with a 5-2 win over the Lancers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mustangs.

Ryan Grenham spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on six hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Angel Olaverria was excellent, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Caden Sheehan, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Norwood's victory bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Norton, they dropped their record down to 5-7 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Norwood will challenge rival Millis at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Norton is set to take on their familiar foe Westwood at 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
