Football Recap: Perryville Comes Up Short

After soaring to 38 points the game before, Perryville was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They took a 19-13 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Edgewood Rams. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Rams recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Edgewood to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jayden Harvin, who rushed for 76 yards and one TD. Malachi Robinson did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 82 receiving yards.

Perryville's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Edgewood, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Perryville will head out to take on Rising Sun at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Edgewood, they will venture away from home to challenge Havre de Grace at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
