Carroll County waltzed into their match on Thursday with 17 straight wins... but they left with 18. They put the hurt on the Patrick County Cougars with a sharp 11-2 win. Considering the Cavaliers have won 13 games by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Carroll County pushed their record up to 19-2 with the victory, which was their 11th straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.5 runs over those games. As for Patrick County, their loss ended a 16-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 14-4.
